The Freedom Ryder E-Assist Handcycle is built for riders who want strength, smooth power, and everyday reliability. The rear frame uses 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum that’s been stress-tested far beyond real-world conditions, paired with a chromoly steel front end for confident handling and stability. At 64 lbs with the battery (55 lbs without), it strikes the balance between durability and manageable weight. A 26” wheelset, 1×9 drivetrain, and ergonomic 170mm crank arms give the bike a natural, responsive feel on both paved paths and mixed terrain.
Power comes from a 500W electric hub motor with a 48V battery and full-color display, offering intuitive assist through a right-side thumb throttle. Disc brakes provide strong, predictable stopping power, and the memory-foam seat with a breathable cover keeps long rides comfortable. Overall dimensions—78” long, 31.5” wide, and roughly 30” tall depending on setup—create a stable, confidence-inspiring footprint without feeling oversized.
